Annual Role Model Classes
Who Are Role Models?
Annually, we will highlight Black and Brilliant Role Models from local communities based upon nominations recognizing their contribution in any of the following areas:
- Arts
- Business
- Education
- Entertainment
- Healthcare
- Law
- Politics & Public Service
- Religion
- Science, Engineering & Math
- Social Justice
- Sports
- Technology
Role Model Qualifications
The ONLY qualification is to be a Black and Brilliant Role Model in your community.
All nominees who accept their nomination will be asked to submit a Role Model Candidate Application.
The Process
- The Role Models Council will open the application window.
- The community will nominate role models.
- The Council will review all nominations and identify the finalists.
- The public will VOTE on the finalist and identify the members of the Role Model Class.
- Role Models will be honored.
