Black & Brilliant, Inc. Board (Board)
The Board will oversee the activities of Black and Brilliant, Inc. and ensure that staff and volunteers act legally and ethically.
As the organization grows, the role of the Board will expand.

Qualifications
Be an upstanding member of the community with a commitment to fulfill the mission of Black and Brilliant, Inc. Able to provide an updated, brief biography and headshot for the website. Able to serve in a volunteer capacity.
Duties
The Council will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating all submissions for a role model class and selecting the 10 finalists for their respective specialty area. Selection duties include review of submissions, completing an online evaluation survey for submissions and participating in a phone or video conference meeting to discuss selection of the 10 finalists for the area. Council members are also asked to attend the Role Model Debut Event.
Black & Brilliant Role Model Selection Council (Council)
The Council will consist of 40 members (3 per category and 4 members-at-large). The category specific council members will evaluate all submissions in their specialty category. Members-at-large will assist any category in need of additional reviewers due to the volume of applications submitted. Candidates being nominated as a Role Model cannot serve on the Council during their review year.
